About the Role

Fresenius Digital Technology is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Demand Management function. As Head of Demand Management and Process Optimization, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment of business demands with organizational strategic objectives to deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a demand management strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures efficient resource allocation.
  • Lead the process of capturing, prioritizing, and allocating resources for business demands across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business units to translate their needs into IT/operational requirements, managing expectations effectively.
  • Drive the standardization and optimization of business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Establish governance structures for process ownership, monitor KPIs, and report on demand management progress to executive leadership.
  • Manage and mentor a global team, fostering cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Oversee quality management of requirements, conduct process reviews, and implement risk mitigation measures in demand management.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • 8+ years of managing IT demands, with deep expertise in process management and requirements management.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale process improvement initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Very good knowledge of ServiceNow and familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
  • Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Experience in portfolio management, capacity planning, and aligning business demands with strategic objectives.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on achieving both short-term and long-term strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to influence stakeholders and articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences; additional German language skills are an asset.
