About the Role

As a Senior Account Manager at T-Systems International GmbH, you will represent the company as a strong IT provider and digitalization partner to our target and existing customers:

  • You will establish reliable customer relationships at the C-Level and bring current challenges and needs of our customers into alignment with our comprehensive portfolio in the core areas of Advisory, Cloud & Infrastructure, Digital Solutions, SAP, and Security.
  • You will market the service and product portfolio of T-Systems to companies in the retail, logistics, utilities, media, and services sectors.
  • You will be responsible for achieving customer-related sales targets in terms of order intake and revenue.
  • You will plan customer-related sales strategies for account development and implement them sustainably.
  • You will, together with the sales team of the different portfolio units, design and be responsible for the entire acquisition process at the customer (from the first customer presentation to the creation of offers, negotiations, and successful conclusion).
  • You will open up new buying centers beyond corporate IT and maintain and intensify existing business relationships.
  • You will continuously monitor the market and identify potential topics and trends for the areas of retail, logistics, and services, and develop ideas for new, innovative sales approaches.
  • You will, together with the team, identify new, interesting target customers, develop a customer-related approach strategy, and implement it with a lot of support - but with a high degree of autonomy.
About You

We are looking for a professional with:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in our industries and the ability to demonstrate exceptional sales success.
  • Ideal experience in one of our industries.
  • A well-developed personal network (middle management and CxO level) that is reliable, sustainable, and opens up the right doors.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges our customers face - ideally, you have experience in one of our industries.
  • A high level of IT affinity and enthusiasm for complex topic settings, as well as an excellent understanding of innovative solutions in the areas of IT infrastructure/cloud technology, SAP, security, and digitalization.
  • The ability to move professionally and carefully in a sales organization, including the leadership of account and temporary deal teams, as well as the necessary work hygiene, such as pipeline/forecast maintenance, documentation, etc.
  • A high degree of customer orientation and a high level of initiative, combined with the ability to adapt company-provided services to customer needs.
  • Team skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • A high level of customer air time and the associated travel readiness.
