Sustainability Certification Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certification Manager to join our team at FSC Global Development GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our certification processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage Certification Processes: Develop and implement effective certification processes to ensure compliance with relevant accreditation and assurance legislation.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of FSC requirements with ISO requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain Requirements: Create and update requirements for assurance providers, ensuring they meet FSC's standard setting procedure.
  • Manage Relationships: Foster strong relationships with national accreditation bodies, European Accreditation members, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure Quality and Integrity: Oversee the quality and integrity of certification processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as quality management, international relations, or social sciences.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in certification, quality management, or assurance.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven project management experience, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Languages and Communication: Excellent English and German language skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and user-friendly manner.
