About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED. As a Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving the sales of large projects focused on renewables, industries, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to capture key opportunities in the market.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with large sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with customers to secure repeat business.
  • Work with local marketing and sales teams to implement mechanisms such as frame agreements and capacity reservation agreements.
  • Collaborate with operating units, business units, and supply chain management to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Ensure opportunities are developed within the organization's strategy and manage risks to create opportunities for future growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, with a focus on large and complex multi-faceted opportunities.
  • Proven track record of success in the electrical and power industry.
  • Self-driven and experienced in driving the success of large sales orders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment, across different regions.
