Head of Retail Expansion Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Retail Expansion to join our team at KoRo Handels GmbH. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the expansion of our retail presence in Italy, developing and implementing a holistic growth strategy, and leading a national and international key account team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive retail expansion strategy for the Italian market, including market analysis, competitor research, and customer insights.
- Lead a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail, negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners, and build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Work closely with the Sales Leadership Team and the Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy, monitor and control the entire expansion process, and report to C-Level on progress and results.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships in Italy, and develop and implement strategies to drive growth and expansion in the market.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market analyses and develop strategic recommendations for action.
- Proficiency in English and German languages, with additional language skills a plus.
