Head of Competence Team for Application Deployment (m/f/d) Permanent Full-Time Role Key Responsibilities
  • As a vital member of the management team, you will oversee both the technical and personnel management of a dedicated team of five.
  • You will manage software distribution across a vast network of Windows computers, handling over 900 software packages.
  • Your role includes ensuring the efficient operation and management of packaging processes and software deployment for our clients and internal IT.
  • You will enhance our packaging operations while ensuring adherence to quality management standards.
  • You will facilitate the transition of our packaging processes to the Powershell App Deploy Toolkit.
  • You will adapt your leadership style to meet the needs of individual team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • You will collaborate with our HR department to fill open positions through a structured recruitment process.
  • Acting as a mentor, you will guide your team members in their career development.
  • You will be responsible for building and expanding your team, as well as managing staff scheduling and resource allocation.
Candidate Profile
  • You possess a completed technical apprenticeship and have gained substantial experience in an IT setting, particularly in a managerial role with personnel responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with service management processes (ITIL) is advantageous, especially if you hold relevant certifications.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Practical experience with software distribution systems is preferred.
  • You are well-versed in Android, iOS, and MacOS platforms.
  • Your approach is results-driven, independent, and characterized by entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
