Head of Application Deployment Competence Team (m/f/d) Permanent, Full-Time Position Responsibilities
  • As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the technical and personnel management of a dedicated team of five.
  • You will manage software distribution across a vast network of Windows computers, handling over 900 software packages.
  • You will ensure the effective operation and management of packaging processes and software deployment for both clients and internal IT operations.
  • Your role will involve optimizing the packaging factory while maintaining rigorous quality management standards.
  • You will assist in transitioning the packaging process to the Powershell App Deploy Toolkit.
  • You will adapt your leadership style to meet the needs of your team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • You will collaborate with the HR department to fill open positions through an ongoing recruitment process.
  • You will act as a mentor within your team, supporting your colleagues in their career development.
  • You will be responsible for team building, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
  • A completed technical apprenticeship and substantial experience in an IT environment, including management responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with service management processes (ITIL) is advantageous, especially if you hold relevant certifications.
  • A strong understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems is essential.
  • Practical experience with software distribution systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Android, iOS, and MacOS platforms is beneficial.
  • You demonstrate a results-oriented, independent approach driven by entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German is required; additional languages are a plus.
