Head of Application Deployment Competence Team (m/f/d) Permanent Position, Full-Time Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of five professionals within the NC ITS management structure.
  • Oversee the distribution of software across a vast network of Windows computers, managing over 900 software packages.
  • Ensure the effective operation and management of packaging processes and software deployment for both clients and internal IT services.
  • Enhance the efficiency of the packaging factory while maintaining rigorous quality management standards.
  • Facilitate the transition of the packaging process to the Powershell App Deploy Toolkit.
  • Adapt your leadership style to meet the needs of team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to fill open positions through an ongoing recruitment process.
  • Act as a mentor within your team, guiding employees in their career development.
  • Take charge of team building, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Candidate Profile
  • Successfully completed a technical apprenticeship with relevant professional experience in IT and management roles.
  • Familiarity with service management processes (ITIL) is advantageous, particularly with certifications.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Practical experience with software distribution systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Android, iOS, and MacOS is beneficial.
  • Results-driven, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient in written and spoken German; additional languages are a plus.
