As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to customers on plaster and facade-related matters, handling calculations and proposals, and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a knowledgeable advisor to customers on building materials and construction-related topics
- Handle calculation and proposal creation for builders and contractors, following up and processing them diligently
- Maintain relationships with existing and new customers through regular visits and communication
- Use your sales skills to convince customers and generate orders
- Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, and logistics departments to contribute to project success
- Carefully handle customer complaints and concerns
- Conduct price negotiations with suppliers and customers as a fair partner
Your Ideal Qualifications:
- Commercial apprenticeship in wholesale trade or equivalent with relevant experience
- Experience in selling construction materials is a plus
- Opportunity for career changers from the construction industry with knowledge in building materials
- Skilled in customer and supplier interactions and negotiation
- Strong team player with experience in a medium-sized environment and ideally a regional construction and building materials network
