Information Security Specialist

Oetker Digital GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Officer to join our team in Berlin.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive information security program, aligned with the Oetker Group-wide security directive.
- Manage and assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide guidance and counsel to senior management and staff on information security and its alignment with business objectives and risk management.
- Collaborate with business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes, and work with stakeholders to identify acceptable levels of residual risk.
- Oversee incident response planning and investigate security breaches, assisting with disciplinary and legal matters as necessary.
- Manage the daily operation and execution of information security, disaster recovery, and IT risk management.
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies, security trends, and threats to adapt security strategies accordingly.
- Fluent in English and German (mandatory for this role).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and IT roles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management, including managed services.
- Knowledgeable about various information security frameworks and compliance practices specific to the food and beverage industry.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) security.
- Professional certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, etc.) is welcome.
