As the Senior People Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in addressing employee-related matters for dedicated business units, directly liaising with the HR Business Partner (HRBP). You will work alongside fellow People Operations Managers to refine and enhance Global People Operations processes and policies. While you will not have formal line management duties, you will exhibit situational leadership within a collaborative framework.

Key Responsibilities

Management of Employee Lifecycle:

  • Act as the primary contact for employees across national and international subsidiaries, guiding them through their entire employment journey.
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities including employment contracts, parental leave requests, references, and HRIS data management.
  • Facilitate the visa process for international staff and assist with their successful relocation.
  • Ensure the effective delivery and quality of daily Global People Operations, collaborating with peer People Operations Managers, HRBPs, People Analytics & Infrastructure, Legal, Payroll, and Enterprise IT.

Process Enhancement & Project Leadership:

  • Champion the centralization and standardization of Global People Processes.
  • Guide People Operations without formal line management authority, promoting empowerment and teamwork.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimize Global People Operations based on insights from your business units.
  • Lead initiatives to digitalize and automate People Operations processes, closely working with our People Analytics & Infrastructure Team to ensure high data quality and develop automated reports and controls.
    Drive diverse projects, including global benefits programs.

Candidate Profile
  • University degree or completed apprenticeship focused on human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field.
  • Several years of HR Operations experience in a multinational and fast-paced environment. This role is also suitable for those with extensive experience in People Operations within a German labor law context, looking to broaden their scope globally.
  • Strong understanding of German labor law. Experience in international People Operations (UK, US, Spain, Italy) is a plus.
  • Ability to facilitate, support, and guide diverse stakeholders towards successful outcomes. Confidence in decision-making and communication is essential. Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in leading projects. Experience and enthusiasm for digitalization and automation initiatives is beneficial.
  • Passion for operational HR work with a solid service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Fluency in German and proficient English skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Personio, Jira, and Google Workspace is a plus.
