As the Senior People Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in providing support to specific business units regarding all employee-related issues, directly reporting to the HR Business Partner (HRBP). You will work alongside fellow People Operations Managers to refine and enhance Global People Operations processes and policies. While you will not have formal line management duties, you will exercise situational leadership within a cooperative leadership model.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Lifecycle Management:- Act as the primary contact for employees across national and international subsidiaries, assisting them throughout their entire employment journey.
- Manage administrative functions including employment contracts, parental leave applications, references, and HRIS data oversight.
- Oversee the visa application process for international employees and facilitate their successful relocation.
- Ensure the effective delivery and quality of daily Global People Operations, collaborating with peer People Operations Managers, HRBPs, People Analytics & Infrastructure, Legal, Payroll, and Enterprise IT.
- Lead the centralization and standardization of Global People Processes.
- Guide People Operations without formal line management authority, promoting empowerment and teamwork.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and optimize Global People Operations based on insights gained from your business units.
- Direct initiatives to digitize and automate People Operations processes, working closely with our People Analytics & Infrastructure Team to ensure high data integrity and develop automated reports and controls.
- Manage diverse projects, including global benefits programs.

- University Degree or equivalent apprenticeship focused on human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field.
- Extensive HR Operations experience in a multinational and fast-paced environment. This role is also suitable for those with significant experience in People Operations within a German labor law context, looking to broaden their scope globally.
- Strong understanding of German labor law; experience in international People Operations (UK, US, Spain, Italy) is a plus.
- Ability to facilitate, support, and guide diverse stakeholders towards successful outcomes. Confidence in decision-making and communication is essential. Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
- Proven track record in managing projects. Experience and enthusiasm for digitalization and automation initiatives are beneficial.
- Passion for operational HR functions with a solid service orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Fluency in German and proficient English skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Personio, Jira, and Google Workspace is a plus.
