Our research focuses on understanding the role of extracellular vesicles in intercellular communication in the tumor microenvironment and with distant metastatic niches in pancreatic cancer.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on the secretion and cargo content of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs, exosomes) in pancreatic cancer
  • Investigate the impact of prominent PDAC driver mutations on sEV-mediated intercellular communication
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement novel research approaches
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., molecular biology, cancer biology, or a related field)
  • Experience with molecular biology, cancer biology, or extracellular vesicles
  • Motivation to solve complex biological problems and work with animal model systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English
What We Offer:
  • Attractive remuneration according to the TV-L collective agreement
  • Wide range of further training and qualification opportunities
  • Varied, future-oriented, and interdisciplinary work
  • Collegial cooperation in a committed team
