Job Title: PhD Students - Bone Regeneration after Fracture

We are seeking highly motivated and talented PhD students to join our research team at the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics. Our research focuses on understanding the aetiology of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and developing novel therapeutic strategies.

About the Project:

The PhD project will focus on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of bone regeneration after fracture, with a particular emphasis on compromised bone healing. The project will involve mouse models, cell culture work, molecular biology, histology, and imaging techniques.

  • M.Sc. in biology, molecular medicine, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong motivation to address biological and medical questions with interdisciplinary approaches
  • Experience in immunology and molecular biology is advantageous
