Lead Financial Reporting Strategist (f/m/d)

We are seeking a Lead Financial Reporting Strategist (f/m/d) to enhance our Financial Reporting team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This pivotal position within our Financial Reporting division offers a unique chance to significantly influence and develop a high-performing team.
  • You will take charge of formulating our accounting policies (IFRS) across various business sectors, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Financial Reporting, collaborating closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to establish relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead the ongoing enhancement of our accounting standards, including local GAAPs and IFRS transitions, managing multiple initiatives with a high level of autonomy.
  • Facilitate discussions with both internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including our quarterly and annual group audits.
  • Additionally, you will supervise special and strategic group initiatives that impact group accounting.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You possess a degree in business administration or finance, complemented by extensive professional experience in group accounting, auditing, or a similar role with managerial responsibilities.
  • You have a strong command of technical accounting (IFRS), including experience in group reporting and consolidation.
  • Familiarity with contemporary reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., LucaNet) is essential, and a certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
  • A self-motivated individual, you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.
  • You exhibit excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex accounting concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in creating financial models using MS Excel is required, along with fluent written and spoken English, ideally as a native speaker.
