Lead Manager of Financial Reporting

To enhance our Financial Reporting division, we are seeking a Lead Manager of Financial Reporting (f/m/d) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

This position represents a senior opportunity within our Financial Reporting framework, allowing you to significantly influence and develop a high-performing team.

  • You will take charge of formulating our accounting policies (IFRS) across various business sectors, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Financial Reporting, collaborating closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to establish relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead the ongoing enhancement of our accounting standards, including local GAAPs and IFRS conversion, managing multiple initiatives with a high level of autonomy.
  • Facilitate discussions with both internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, including our quarterly and year-end group audits.
  • Additionally, you will supervise both special and strategic group initiatives that impact group accounting.
Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

You possess a degree in business administration or finance and have accumulated several years of experience in group accounting, auditing, or a similar role with management responsibilities.

  • Exceptional technical accounting knowledge (IFRS), with experience in group reporting and consolidation.
  • You are also familiar with contemporary reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., LucaNet) and ideally hold a certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA).
  • A self-motivated individual with the enthusiasm to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, high-growth environment.
  • Strong communication abilities, capable of articulating complex accounting concepts.
  • You are proficient in developing financial models in MS Excel and possess fluent written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
