Your Role: Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple companies within our organization. This includes processing invoices, managing customer orders and contracts, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) standards. Your responsibilities will encompass general ledger accounting, travel expense accounting, and the generation of reports and statistical analyses.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with our controlling department to ensure seamless internal and external reporting processes. Provide support for various administrative and accounting tasks within our daily operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in DATEV software and familiarity with other financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One) is highly desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB).
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
