Sustainable Assets Procurement Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business unit leaders to translate their needs into actionable procurement strategies, planning, and supplier management.
- Strategically manage supplier relationships to enhance business value, including the development and execution of supplier engagement plans and fostering supplier-based innovation.
- Oversee strategic tendering processes, including the formulation of tender strategies, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract implementation for technical components and services.
- Serve as the Project Procurement Lead (PPL), acting as the primary contact for procurement-related matters within Uniper projects, while working in conjunction with other procurement functions.
- Drive initiatives in collaboration with business units focusing on sustainability, innovation, safety, and cost efficiency, while leveraging external networks to create new solutions.
Candidate Profile
- A strong educational background in engineering, business administration, economics, or a related field, complemented by relevant professional experience.
- Extensive experience in procurement within the energy, process, or chemical industries, particularly in managing procurement for significant asset projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to align business needs with procurement and supplier management requirements, along with excellent communication and project management abilities.
- International experience with an understanding of cultural differences and a willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficient communication skills in English are essential; knowledge of additional languages, especially German, is advantageous.
