Are you prepared to engage in one of the most captivating sectors of Research & Development at Mercedes-Benz AG - the architecture of low-voltage wiring systems?
The low-voltage wiring system architecture may not be visible to customers, yet its impeccable functionality is crucial for the vehicle's safety and dependability. As a member of our team, you will gain valuable insights into various facets of vehicle development. The vehicle electrical system powers all components, allowing you to explore the development of essential systems such as braking and steering. The integration of on-board electrical system components will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the entire vehicle and its operations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to discover new comfort and design features that require energy supply. Furthermore, you will learn about the design of high-voltage on-board electrical systems and electric powertrains, which are vital adjacent systems.
This array of interfaces offers you a unique chance to delve into the on-board electrical system and EE architecture while also familiarizing yourself with numerous other fields at Mercedes-Benz, potentially uncovering your ideal future specialization.
To create innovative and remarkable vehicles, we require a development process that is both innovative and highly automated. This is where your contributions will be essential:
- You will assist in automating various development processes using your preferred tools, possibly incorporating artificial intelligence.
- You will develop and implement your own ideas, actively contributing and applying your theoretical knowledge from your studies.
- As a fully integrated team member, you will play a key role in establishing the latest technologies in architecture development.
Qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
- High level of commitment and strong teamwork skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MATLAB, Python, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
- Optional knowledge in front-end development.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Analytical mindset and a creative-strategic approach to work.
- Enthusiasm for implementing new methodologies.
