Energy Supply Architecture Internship for Future Innovators

Position Overview: This internship focuses on the captivating domain of Research & Development within the Energy Supply Architecture at Mercedes-Benz AG.

Department: Energy Supply Architecture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the development of low-voltage wiring system architecture, a critical component for vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Gain insights into vehicle electrical systems, including their role in powering braking and steering mechanisms.
  • Explore the integration of various on-board electrical components, providing a comprehensive understanding of vehicle functionality.
  • Investigate new comfort and design features that require energy supply, enhancing user experience.
  • Examine the design aspects of high-voltage electrical systems and electric powertrains, which are essential adjacent systems.

Innovation and Development:

  • Support the automation of development processes through selected tools, potentially incorporating artificial intelligence.
  • Contribute original ideas and apply theoretical knowledge from academic studies to practical scenarios.
  • Actively participate as a team member in advancing cutting-edge technologies in architecture development.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated commitment and strong teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in MATLAB, Python, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
  • Optional knowledge in front-end development.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Possess analytical thinking skills and a creative-strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Enthusiasm for implementing innovative methodologies.
