We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Energy Management team at Mercedes-Benz. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to energy efficiency and sustainability, and contribute to the development of our energy management system.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the preparation of documents for top management, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Implement the requirements for the energy management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and control energy optimization activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Plan and conduct workshops on energy optimization, educating colleagues on best practices and promoting a culture of sustainability.
- Contribute to the further development of our energy communication strategy, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate in the planning and implementation of training concepts and training courses, enhancing the skills of colleagues in energy management.
- Identify and optimize major consumers, analyzing data to inform energy-saving initiatives.
- Develop and create energy indicators for consumption analysis, providing insights into energy usage patterns.
- Prepare and develop energy bills for external and internal customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with the implementation of the new energy data system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Degree in business informatics, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, energy management/energy economics, or a comparable field of study.
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English, with excellent communication skills.
- Confident handling of MS Office, with experience in data analysis and presentation.
- Commitment to teamwork and collaboration, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Analytical mindset and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- General understanding of the energy industry, with knowledge of energy management principles and practices.
