- You will oversee the mapping of all financial transactions, managing accounts payable, fixed assets, and the general ledger.
- Your responsibilities include monitoring the automatically generated outgoing invoices within our ERP system.
- You will play a vital role in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and will be tasked with creating statistical reports and advance VAT returns.
- Additionally, you will generate intercompany invoices and payment runs, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
- You will assist in budgeting processes and prepare reports in close collaboration with management.
- As the primary contact for external stakeholders, including banks and tax advisors, you will work to enhance our internal accounting and finance procedures.
- A completed apprenticeship as an accountant, tax clerk, or a relevant commercial degree, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- A solid understanding of German Accounting Principles (HGB) and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- You demonstrate a structured, meticulous, and proactive work style, seamlessly integrating into an existing team.
- A keen interest in the digitalization and automation of finance processes is essential.
- Residing in Berlin or the surrounding area, you possess excellent German and English language skills (B2 level).
