Accounting Manager Job Description

At Teraki, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key finance source for the C-Suite, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for accurate finance control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare month-end reporting packs for external accounting service providers
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts and credit cards monthly
  • First line of contact for external accounting and tax specialists
  • Maintain updated financial and cash-flow models
  • Develop complex financial modelling with the CFO
  • Cash flow management and control tax payments and credit receipts
  • Ensure payments are made and received in accordance with contracts
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
Requirements:
  • 2+ years working in a Finance Team with similar responsibilities
  • University or college courses in accounting
  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with Datev a plus but not essential
  • Strong work ethic, well-organized, and self-starter
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
