Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to lead the digital transformation of our global manufacturing business within our private equity portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the implementation of advanced IT strategies and overseeing a comprehensive SAP project, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and global market demands.
  • Lead the digital transformation initiatives to enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize technology investments and initiatives.

2. SAP Project Management

  • Oversee the implementation and integration of SAP systems across the global enterprise.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery within scope.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and optimize the use of SAP solutions.

3. IT Operations and Management

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a global IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Engage with external vendors, partners, and consultants to support IT initiatives and drive value.

5. Risk Management and Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and technology assets.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record in leading digital transformation projects.
  • Extensive experience with SAP implementation and management in a global context.
