Your Role: Shaping Aviation Safety Standards
As a Senior Compliance Verification Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our eVTOL aircraft meet the highest safety and regulatory standards. You'll be responsible for:
- Guiding Certification Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive certification vision for Volocopter's composite structures and related systems, encompassing both internal and external verification processes.
- Independent Compliance Verification: Conduct rigorous independent verifications to ensure our Type Design adheres to all applicable certification requirements, environmental regulations, and operational suitability standards. Your focus will be on structural integrity and related aspects.
- Test Article Configuration: Meticulously verify the configuration of test articles and test setups prior to conducting compliance demonstrations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Certification Support: Collaborate closely with competent authorities (EASA and validating bodies) to ensure seamless certification processes and maintain product safety throughout development.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Coordinate and manage a team of dedicated Compliance Verification Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the verification of critical aircraft-level documents, ensuring comprehensive coverage across multiple CVE disciplines to address cross-functional aspects effectively.
