Role Overview

The Robotics Sales Manager is tasked with identifying and cultivating sales opportunities, converting them into confirmed orders. This role involves overseeing the commercial aspects of the proposal process, collaborating with Sales Engineering for technical design and cost estimation, and guiding prospective clients through their purchasing journey. The individual will be responsible for achieving personal sales targets and enhancing regional performance.

  • Showcasing the complete range of Stow Group's Robotics solutions, including iFollow, E.scala, Atlas 2D, racking solutions, and Warehouse Execution Software.
  • Meeting individual sales objectives for all Stow Group Robotics offerings, focusing on key performance indicators such as order intake volume, profitability, and product mix.
  • Collaborating with colleagues regionally and globally to share leads, relationships, and best practices.
  • Managing the sales process from lead generation to order confirmation, which includes:
    • Identifying and engaging potential customers
    • Demonstrating product capabilities
    • Assessing sales opportunities
    • Responding to requests for proposals, understanding customer requirements to enable tailored solutions
    • Creating proposals, return on investments, and business case validations
    • Generating commercial offers with technical support from Sales Engineering
    • Presenting proposed solutions
    • Coordinating customer visits and reference engagements
    • Formulating effective sales strategies
    • Negotiating and finalizing agreements, in collaboration with the Commercial Director and aligned with company objectives
    • Ensuring proposals are validated by engineering, contracts are legally approved, and commercial terms are agreed upon by management
    • Securing purchase orders and transitioning projects to execution
  • Engaging directly with end customers and working alongside integrators, adhering to company vision and guidance.
  • Providing accurate reports on sales opportunities and strategies to management.
  • Maintaining organized documentation and version control.
  • Gaining insights into market trends and competitor activities to enhance the competitiveness of our solutions and provide feedback to product management.
  • Supporting regional marketing efforts, including trade shows and promotional events.
  • Identifying and developing new sales leads within the designated territory.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with customers and partners, representing Stow Group in a professional manner consistent with our company values.
  • Collaborating with various departments, including sales engineering, product management, integrator management, legal, and marketing.
Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrated experience as a sales manager within the German market.
  • Preferably, 5-20 years of experience in the intralogistics automation sector.
  • Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, proactive, and dedicated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent organizational skills.
