Position Overview

This role offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience in a prestigious automotive organization. The focus will be on strategic purchasing and procurement management.

Department

The Purchasing & Supplier Quality department is integral to the operations of Mercedes-Benz AG, managing a substantial annual purchasing volume.

Key Responsibilities

As a working student, you will actively participate in various tasks, including:

Award and Committee Management:
  • Assist in coordinating and managing award scopes for new product initiatives.
  • Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of awarding committees.
  • Help create presentation materials for management and support evaluation processes.
Cooperation:
  • Take responsibility for sub-projects and diverse tasks that impact the organization.
  • Support the development of cooperation agreements and assist in project implementations.
  • Gain insights through participation in internal and external management-level committees.
  • Enhance cooperation standards and provide project support.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in organizing team workshops and contribute to various projects beyond daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in business administration, engineering, or economics.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
