Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Electronics Sector Procurement Leader to join a leading company in the electronics industry. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy and leading supplier management as the company continues to expand its operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Global Sourcing: Manage global sourcing for PCBs, complex cable assemblies, and connectors, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Commodity Strategies: Develop and execute commodity strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Procurement Team Development: Provide mentorship and training to the procurement team, supporting their growth and development.
  • Technical Requirements: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements, ensuring seamless integration of procurement and engineering functions.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present reports to senior and C-level management, effectively communicating procurement strategies and results.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the electronics or semiconductor industries, particularly in an engineering environment.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and reporting skills, particularly at the senior management level.
  • International Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally, with a willingness to adapt to new environments.
