Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Commodity Manager to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy and leading supplier management for our electronics and semiconductor business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Sourcing: Manage the procurement of PCBs, complex cable assemblies, and connectors from global suppliers.
  • Commodity Strategy: Develop and execute commodity strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery for our business.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship and training to the procurement team to support their growth and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and drive business success.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior and C-level management to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the electronics or semiconductor industries, particularly in an engineering environment.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to drive business success.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and reporting skills, particularly at the senior management level.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally to engage with suppliers and support business growth.
