HR Manager for Global Services

This role is a temporary position focused on providing HR advisory services within the Global Services division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will play a vital role in the HR Delivery Team, concentrating on comprehensive employee lifecycle management for approximately 275 employees in Germany and Austria, alongside an additional 300 employees across the EMESA region, which includes significant communities in Spain, France, and Italy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with People Managers and employees to resolve various employee relations issues, ensuring a balance between individual, organizational, and functional needs.
- Providing legal guidance and HR counsel on best practices, while generating options for achieving favorable outcomes.
- Interpreting and implementing HR policies and procedures, addressing inquiries to ensure consistency and adherence.
- Overseeing local HR processes and working with HR Services Teams to fulfill operational tasks.
- Acting as a key resource for German employment laws and regulations, managing exit processes, and ensuring data integrity related to employee management.
- Partnering with functional HR Business Partners, Recruiting Teams, and Talent Management to facilitate organizational change.
- Designing and operationalizing user-friendly plans that foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement.
- Contributing to global projects and actively participating in the broader HR community.
- Supporting the year-end compensation and bonus processes in alignment with local standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in a global, matrixed environment, providing guidance to senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of German employment laws; additional European experience is advantageous.
- Experience in performance management, employee relations, and compensation management.
- Familiarity with HR Management systems, with Workday being a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and sound judgment, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.
- A collaborative team player with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- A pragmatic approach with the ability to understand both detailed and overarching business objectives.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of tools like Slack, Trello, and SharePoint being beneficial.
- Project management experience to align operational objectives with strategic policies.
