Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Logistics Manager to join our team at DSJ Global. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Logistics Operations: Manage and coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure seamless execution of our business operations.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and freight service providers to secure the best possible rates and services.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards, including customs clearance processes, to minimize risks and avoid penalties.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and analyze financial reports and forecasts related to logistics, providing actionable insights to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and address inefficiencies and bottlenecks in our supply chain, implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on logistics performance, providing data-driven insights to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, market operations, and finance departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record of success in supply chain management and logistics operations.
  • Skills: Proficient in logistics and inventory management software, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical and database software. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
