Strategic HR Leader

Purpose:

Lead and cultivate a thriving people ecosystem, ensuring impactful experiences at every touchpoint by implementing the People Strategy for your designated function. Act as a strategic HR partner to the organization, guiding the HR team both regionally and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leaders and business executives.
  • Provide expert guidance on people-related matters to the Senior Leadership Team. Coach and mentor senior leaders to empower them in navigating people, engagement, and performance challenges and decisions.
  • Drive and execute the People Strategy for your assigned area of responsibility, focusing on strategic initiatives that drive organizational success.
  • Lead complex organizational design, change management, and transformation programs. Collaborate with the Organizational Development (OD) and Organizational Effectiveness (OE) department to redesign structures aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and develop essential skills and capabilities to support strategic initiatives. Lead the strategic workforce planning process to ensure a future-ready talent pipeline.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and dashboards to inform organizational strategy and drive informed decision-making.
  • Build a robust talent pipeline with succession plans for senior leadership positions within your area of responsibility.
  • Develop a Leadership Bench for the future, identifying and nurturing high-potential individuals.
  • Ensure consistent execution of core HR processes in full compliance with adidas Group policies, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and needs from the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-13 years of progressive experience in a multinational company with expertise in HR Management, Rewards, Talent Acquisition, or a relevant business function.
  • Proven track record as a strategic HR business partner who has supported partners and contributed to the development of standard/global HR tools and programs.
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues, including union drives/organizing attempts, discrimination claims, sexual harassment investigations, and downsizing.
  • Experience leading HR teams during acquisitions/divestitures and organizational integrations.
  • International experience and a global mindset. Experience living and working abroad is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
