Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d) - HR TECH

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic consultant for all personnel-related issues, ensuring a seamless employee experience and dedicated assistance. Reporting to the HR Director Tech, your role will involve advising the organization on personnel decisions, effectively integrating the people roadmap into teams, and delivering HR services and support to individual employees.

Your collaboration will extend to the VP for CIO TO and the VP for BCT, directly engaging with employees and working closely with global HR colleagues and leaders based in Germany. You will facilitate a supportive ecosystem around key moments that matter, including leadership, performance, diversity, equity, inclusion, recruitment, rewards, and organizational structure.

The Tech Function is currently undergoing a significant transformation by adopting a product-led organizational model and establishing Tech Hubs worldwide. This shift has not only resulted in substantial growth but has also enhanced the focus on talent development, career progression, and capability enhancement for global Tech talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on all personnel matters, coaching and mentoring Line Managers to empower them in engagement and performance discussions.
  • Support and implement the People Strategy within your designated area.
  • Lead change management initiatives and the execution of new organizational designs.
  • Identify solutions to enhance skills and capabilities in collaboration with expert communities, operationalizing workforce planning processes.
  • Analyze dashboards and trends to monitor HR metrics.
  • Develop a talent pipeline with comprehensive succession plans for management roles within your area of responsibility.
  • Prepare the management base for future needs.
  • Ensure effective execution of our people products and processes, tailoring communication for the target audience.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from line managers and employees.
  • Drive and support regional activities, including local initiatives and branding efforts.
  • Educate and assist leaders and managers in their responsibilities regarding appraisals, grievances, health and safety, planning, talent acquisition, briefings, development, and training.

  • Expertise in HR: Understanding of individual and collective labor laws, HR metrics, change management, organizational design, and employee relations.
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, customer focus, and comprehension of HR strategy and business processes.
  • Consulting Skills: Ability to broker solutions that meet business needs, sell HR solutions, facilitate small groups, and provide coaching.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in Personnel Management.
  • A minimum of 6-7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within an international organization.
