In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and updating technical documentation for helicopters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with aviation regulations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze change requests (ECP/MITB) and customer feedback, estimating the effort required for documentation updates.
- Examine technical documents, including parts lists, drawings, technical notes, and supplier catalogs, to understand maintenance procedures and concepts.
- Define the scope of changes to manuals, considering existing helicopter configurations.
- Execute changes or provide technical support to subcontractors involved in creating individual data modules.
- Handle customer inquiries, generate reports, manage data, and contribute to process improvements.
- Prepare ICA drafts for approval by national/international aviation authorities.
Your Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering or a related field with relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in creating technical publications within the aviation industry, preferably focusing on electrical systems and/or avionics.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations pertaining to technical documentation.
- Experience interacting with customers effectively.
- Prior experience in helicopter maintenance or production is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ILS (Instrument Landing System) is an advantage.
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently, demonstrating resilience and strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English language proficiency for business communication.
- Advanced German language skills.
