Aerospace Sales Executive

We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a prominent international aerospace firm, we specialize in the development, manufacturing, and testing of critical components for launcher programs including Ariane and the Space Launch System (SLS), as well as commercial launch systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecraft, satellites, and defense applications. Our unique manufacturing technologies enable us to produce high-performance products made from metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures, and pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimal weight. Our expertise in additive manufacturing, CFRP, and hydrogen mobility positions us as a preferred partner beyond the aerospace sector. We currently employ around 600 individuals at our headquarters in Augsburg and at the launch site in Kourou (French Guiana).

Your Responsibilities
- Lead the acquisition of new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors and formulate market and product strategies as part of the business development initiative.
- Serve as the primary contact for institutional and industrial clients, preparing proposals and engaging in negotiations.
- Oversee internal sales processes, including expectations, offer, and order planning in collaboration with service areas and the commercial department.
- Integrate and coordinate market and customer requirements into the product and technology roadmap.
- Develop and maintain a personal network of agencies and industrial clients.
Your Qualifications
- Completed technical studies, preferably in aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the European aerospace industry and defense landscape, with a personal network and experience in CFRP being advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize and present complex issues effectively.
- A collaborative leadership style and strong coordination abilities.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of French is a plus.
