Business Development Manager

Altair is a premier provider of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Cloud Solutions, offering innovative products and exceptional support services. We are in search of a Business Manager to enhance our team and spearhead growth within the HPC and Cloud sectors.
Position Overview:
As a Business Manager, reporting directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Computing Sales - EMEA, your primary focus will be on promoting Altair's HPC and Cloud Solutions. You will articulate the unique value of our offerings while actively pursuing new business avenues.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Oversee the complete sales process, from initial contact to finalizing agreements
- Enhance relationships with current clients
- Negotiate and finalize contracts
- Provide comprehensive information regarding HPC and Cloud Solutions
- Organize executive meetings with clients
- Collaborate effectively with sales, pre-sales, and marketing teams
- Build partnerships with eco-partners
- Execute strategies to boost lead generation
- Engage in marketing initiatives
- Conduct market and competitive analysis
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in Software Solutions Sales
- Proven track record as a proactive sales professional with strong communication skills
- Experience collaborating with HPC and Cloud partners
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Fluency in English and the local language
Preferred Skills:
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 3 years of experience in selling IT/HPC/Cloud solutions
- Familiarity with CRM systems and industry best practices
