Satellite Ground Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Ground Systems Engineer to join our team at OHB Digital Connect GmbH in Bremen. As a key member of our Satellite Ground Systems department, you will play a crucial role in analyzing customer requirements and deriving technical specifications for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems.
Your Responsibilities:- Analyze customer requirements and derive technical specifications for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Develop and maintain technical specifications and requirements for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Design, develop, integrate, and test satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Develop and maintain design and interface documentation for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Perform system development through code reviews, testing, configuration management, and monitoring
- Work on the overall system level and perform ground segment integration
- Support project planning and reporting on progress
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in Requirements Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant Requirements Engineering tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly adapt to new tasks
- Flexibility, self-motivation, and effective work style
- Responsibility and teamwork
- Excellent German language skills
- Fluent English language skills
