Job Opportunity

We are looking for a Satellite Operations System Engineer (m/f/d) Galileo Service Operation Support to join our team in Bremen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of technical activities, including leading technical queries and anomaly investigations, coordinating with external stakeholders, and designing and validating recovery actions.

Your Tasks

  • Report to the project manager and lead technical queries and anomaly investigations in collaboration with the satellite operations teams.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders involved in space segment maintenance activities in the weekly Anomaly Review Board and other technical meetings.
  • Design and validate recovery actions with experts and support their implementation in-flight.
  • Process and analyze telemetry and maintain supporting tools and infrastructure.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for customers.
  • Contribute to the development of our activities within Galileo.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of satellite systems, experience in satellite operations is a plus.
  • Pro-active and self-managed working style.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English, German, or other language skills is advantageous.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites.
