Job Opportunity

We are looking for a Satellite Operations System Engineer (m/f/d) for Galileo Service Operation Support at our location in Bremen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical queries and anomaly investigations in collaboration with satellite operations teams
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders involved in space segment maintenance activities in the weekly Anomaly Review Board and other technical meetings
  • Design and validate recovery actions with experts and support their implementation in-flight
  • Process and analyze telemetry and maintain supporting tools and infrastructure
  • Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for customers
  • Contribute to the development of activities within Galileo

Requirements

  • Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of satellite systems, experience in satellite operations is a plus
  • Pro-active and self-managed working style
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English, German or other language skills is advantageous
  • Willing to travel to customer sites
