Tender Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Bid Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire bid process, from initial planning to final submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of two Tender Managers and provide strategic guidance on bid strategy and planning.
  • Develop and implement processes for bid preparation, from tender opportunity identification to contract award.
  • Ensure timely and accurate bid submissions, including coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including assembling a dedicated bid team.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop tailored solution concepts and ensure alignment with market requirements.
  • Analyze client requirements and provide expert advice on contract structure, duration, and operational feasibility.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on tender opportunities and market trends, and proactively seek out new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Business Administration or Logistics.
  • Proven experience as a leader, with a minimum of 2-3 years in Bid Management or Project Management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent language skills in German and English.
