Tender Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Bid Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire bid process, from initial planning to final submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of two Tender Managers and provide strategic guidance on bid strategy and planning.
  • Develop and implement processes for bid preparation, from tender opportunity identification to contract award.
  • Ensure timely and accurate bid submissions, including coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including team members and external experts, to support bid preparation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Analyze client requirements and develop bid strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform bid strategy.
  • Proactively identify new bid opportunities and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including sales and marketing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Business Administration or Logistics.
  • Proven experience in bid management or project management, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent language skills in German and English.
