Position Overview
Job Title: Experienced Program Manager - 22FDX
Job Number: JR
Your Responsibilities
As the Program Manager for Technology Development Programs, you will oversee operations within GlobalFoundries' cutting-edge 300 mm wafer fabrication facility in Dresden, Germany.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and managing the execution of intricate semiconductor engineering development initiatives.
- Owning the comprehensive program timeline, resource distribution, and alignment of program milestone objectives.
- Ensuring a smooth transition from the development phase to production.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of specialists throughout the entire Technology Development Program, defining tasks and work packages to ensure timely and quality program completion.
- Collaborating closely with Product Marketing, PMO, PDK, Modeling, and IP Teams.
- Effectively communicating internally and with clients in both technical and executive settings.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering or Science (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Materials) or a PhD.
- A solid understanding of modern CMOS process integration.
- Strong teamwork abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Several years of experience in technical leadership roles within the semiconductor industry.
- A proven track record in Technology Development and/or program management of complex, cross-functional engineering projects.
- Experience in "More than Moore" development initiatives such as Embedded Memory, High-Voltage, or RF/mmWave is advantageous.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in German being a plus.
- Exposure to semiconductor volume manufacturing methods, statistical techniques, FMEA/8D Methodology, and a multicultural working environment is beneficial.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., IPMA, PMP) is a plus.
