Your Role

As the Program Manager for Technology Development Programs at GlobalFoundries' advanced 300 mm wafer fabrication facility, you will oversee critical semiconductor engineering initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and managing the execution of intricate semiconductor engineering development projects.
  • Owning the comprehensive program timeline, resource distribution, and alignment of program milestone objectives.
  • Facilitating a smooth transition from the development phase to production.
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of specialists throughout the entire Technology Development Program, defining tasks and work packages to ensure timely and quality program completion.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Marketing, PMO, PDK, Modeling, and IP Teams.
  • Effectively communicating internally and with clients in both technical and executive settings.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering or Science (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Materials) or a PhD.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern CMOS process integration.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Several years of experience in technical leadership roles within the semiconductor sector.
  • A proven track record in Technology Development and/or program management of complex, cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Experience in "More than Moore" development initiatives such as Embedded Memory, High-Voltage, or RF/mmWave is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor volume manufacturing techniques, statistical methods, FMEA/8D Methodology, and a multicultural working environment is beneficial.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., IPMA, PMP) is a plus.
