Position Overview
Job Title: Experienced Program Manager 22FDX
Job Number: JR
Your Responsibilities
As the Program Manager for Technology Development Programs, you will oversee operations within GlobalFoundries' cutting-edge 300 mm wafer fabrication facility in Dresden, Germany.
Your role will include planning and managing the execution of intricate semiconductor engineering development initiatives.
You will be accountable for the overall program timeline, resource distribution, and the alignment of program milestone deliverables.
Additionally, you will ensure a smooth transition from the development phase to production.
Leading a multidisciplinary team of specialists, you will define tasks and work packages to ensure timely and quality program completion.
Collaboration with Product Marketing, PMO, PDK, Modeling, and IP Teams will be essential.
Effective communication with internal teams and external customers in both technical and executive settings is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering or Science (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Materials) or a PhD.
- Proficient understanding of modern CMOS process integration.
- Team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Several years of experience in technical leadership roles within the semiconductor sector.
- Proven track record in Technology Development and/or program management of complex, cross-functional engineering projects.
- Experience in "More than Moore" development initiatives such as Embedded Memory, High-Voltage, or RF/mmWave is advantageous.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in German being a plus.
- Familiarity with semiconductor volume manufacturing techniques, statistical methods, FMEA/8D Methodology, and multicultural working environments is beneficial.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., IPMA, PMP) is a plus.
