As a key member of our Threat Management & Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in developing and strengthening our cyber security capabilities on a global scale. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on responsibility, make our company your company, and create a business together that remains true to its roots but always seeks new solutions. As an Incident Response Process Owner, you will be responsible for establishing and owning the global incident response process, driving improvement of the IR process, and ensuring adherence of all related parties to the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and own the global incident response process
  • Drive improvement of the IR process, especially in terms of response speed and quality
  • Ensure adherence of all related parties to the process
  • Act as a liaison between all cyber defense interfaces, the local and global IT and infosec functions, third parties, and business stakeholders
  • Act as incident response lead for major incidents and as technical lead in case of a cyber crisis
  • Collaborate with METRO GROUP wide IT and Information Security community to integrate threat management and intelligence
Requirements
  • 3-8 years of experience in cyber security
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or significant amount of related work experience
  • Hands-on experience in incident response, e.g. in a CERT, CSIRT, or as L3 in a SOC
  • Knowledge on strategic incident response design and process implementation

Please note that all job opportunities at METRO AG require that you live in/move to Germany and can be in office in Düsseldorf. We don't offer 100% remote opportunities.
