Global Customer Experience Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Customer Quality Director to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our Automotive division, you will be responsible for leading a global team of 12 individuals, including 5 managers, to enhance customer satisfaction by fostering close collaboration with sales, engineering, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Feedback and Enhancements: Lead and nurture your team as the primary point of contact for customer feedback and enhancements, ensuring swift resolution of quality issues and minimal customer impact.
- Global Customer Quality Improvement Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive global customer quality improvement strategy to elevate our customers' experience at every touchpoint.
- Customer Engagement and Travel: Engage proactively with customers, traveling to assess product applications firsthand and fostering meaningful connections to understand their needs.
- 8D Completion Process and Root Cause Analysis: Advocate for the organization's 8D completion process, guiding and facilitating lessons learned through meticulous root cause analysis.
- Collaboration with Sales: Collaborate closely with sales to establish customer trust and transparency by sharing strategic roadmaps and resolving issues promptly.
Background and Skills
We are seeking a candidate who holds a degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, process engineering, or a related technical field, complemented by extensive experience in a customer quality leadership role within the automotive sector. Additionally, we value:
- Experience in IATF 16949 Business Environment: Experience in a full-scope IATF 16949 business environment, preferably with an ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor certification.
- Leadership and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on fostering collaboration and effective communication.
- Problem-Solving Methodologies: Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies and a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Language Skills: Fluent business English skills, with proficiency in German considered advantageous.
