The Lead Internal Communications Strategist will be instrumental in executing an internal communications framework and intranet that aligns with the Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) strategy for the MSF Germany section. Collaborating closely with the Head of the Advisory Unit for Information and Knowledge Management in the Strategy & Organizational Development department, this role is accountable for the design, execution, and oversight of internal communications across MSF Germany.

  • Manage internal communications within MSF Germany alongside IKM and organizational strategy leaders, ensuring consistency throughout the organization.
  • Develop the internal communications framework, encompassing objectives, processes, tone, identity, channels, and translating this into an annual operational plan.
  • Spearhead the creation and deployment of a new internal intranet for communication and knowledge sharing utilizing SharePoint, facilitating office-wide content migration.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including departmental representatives and organization-wide information hubs, to enhance the communication of pertinent topics, offering guidance on content, presentation, timing, and channel utilization.
  • Provide strategic advice to management on internal communications initiatives, including suggested topics and communication channels.
  • Conduct digital and in-person training sessions, workshops, and presentations tailored for diverse audiences within the organization.
  • Edit and produce communication materials, ensuring timely and targeted messaging that optimizes resource utilization across various formats such as texts, presentations, newsletters, and digital media.
  • Several years of experience in corporate communications is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, especially SharePoint and MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen sense for content layout, design, and user experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in English and German.
  • Ability to navigate and manage diverse stakeholder expectations effectively.

  • Competitive compensation based on a transparent internal salary structure; this position falls within group 5 for full-time employment (40 hours/week), ranging from 4,256 Euro to a maximum of 5,385 Euro, depending on relevant professional experience.
