ROLE DEFINITION

DuPont Semiconductor Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineering Manager for the Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technologies (ACST) division. DuPont ACST provides high-quality solutions for post-etch and post-CMP cleans and CMP slurries, while also advancing projects in selective etchants and EUV-related cleaning technologies.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Sales Engineering Manager to enhance DuPont ACST's market presence in semiconductor fabs across Europe. This role involves managing daily technical and sales interactions with fab customers, collaborating with internal R&D and Marketing teams, and understanding customer requirements and roadmaps. The successful candidate will introduce new products, validate value propositions, and optimize supply chain logistics to deliver cost-effective solutions. With a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, the Sales Engineering Manager will connect customer needs with DuPont's offerings in cleans, slurries, and etchants, creating mutually beneficial outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advocate for customers, representing their needs within DuPont.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across various levels and functions, including Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Identify and address unmet customer needs with DuPont's cleans, slurries, and etchants products.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of DuPont's product offerings and stay updated on technological advancements.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal DuPont teams, including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Quality, R&D, and Marketing.
  • Manage customer communications on behalf of DuPont.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites to understand their needs and market conditions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in science and engineering, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical or commercial experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in wet cleans, wet etchants, or CMP slurries (sales experience is not a prerequisite).
  • Willingness to travel within Europe, primarily focusing on Germany.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to work effectively in a virtual team environment and network with peers.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders to create mutual value.
