Business Development Manager for Strategic Procurement

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at DocMorris. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies for our entire group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for the entire DocMorris group, with a focus on the Beauty and Personal Care segment
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities into our overall business strategy
  • Active participation in internal squads, providing input and deriving action recommendations through continuous data analysis and market observation
  • Negotiate contracts and conditions to optimize margins and ensure market and customer demand
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Develop a supplier budget plan (supplier, prioritization, expected budget)
  • Analyze data, such as creating Power BI/ Tableau dashboards
Requirements
  • Desirable: several years of experience in procurement or sales, preferably in the FMCG, cosmetics, beauty, or personal care sectors
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of initiative, decision-making ability, and assertiveness
  • Good Distribution Practices (GDP): ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system
  • Completed degree in business administration with excellent technical understanding or a technical field combined with good economic understanding
  • Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
  • Comprehensive MS-Office knowledge, ideally knowledge of SAP and reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel
