Sales Manager for Starch and Gluten Products in Germany

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Drive the sales of starch (both native and modified) and gluten to clients within the food and feed industries, primarily focusing on the bakery sector.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the representative of the company, providing expert advice to existing clients while independently acquiring new customers and exploring untapped markets.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare competitive offers and engage in price negotiations to achieve successful sales outcomes. Represent the company at various trade fairs, conferences, and congresses globally, while continuously expanding your professional network.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report directly to the sales manager, creating insightful analyses and reports, and managing customer data, visit reports, and order documentation.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and export teams to ensure product availability and optimize the product portfolio for the food and feed marketing sector.
  • Market Insights: Develop market overviews, forecasts, and evaluations specifically for the food and feed segments.
  • Customer Support: Address troubleshooting issues at customer sites and manage complaint resolutions in conjunction with quality management.
  • Product Development Introduction: Facilitate the introduction of new product developments to end customers in the food industry.
  • Application Testing: Conduct tests of customer formulations in both the application laboratory and at customer locations.
Qualifications
  • Completed vocational training or a degree in chemistry, food technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of food and feed regulations and ingredients.
  • Experience in B2B sales or within food markets.
  • Proficient in quality assurance and certification systems, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
